These letter openers are easy patterns to make and they are easy and quick to cut. I was just doodling around in Corel Draw tonight and came up with this pattern. Hope you guys like it.
I usually cut these from a dark colored exotic wood. I sharpen the edges with a belt sander. Take your time with the sharpening. To make these look good the edges need to be neatly contoured.

Nice email form a reader in Australia
Hello Steve,
thought I'd write and tell you that your name /website came up in conversation several time over the weekend.
Our club ( Albury/Wodonga Woodcrafters) held it's yearly scroll saw weekend. People from all over came to participate, 16 saws going strong for 2 days. There was a lot of time spend talking, and 4 different people told me to make sure to visit your site! Had to laugh... been there, done that... and I keep coming back.
Several are using your program to make signs.
Bummer you live so far away, you could have paid us a visit and we could have thanked you in person for all the great work you do and all the time you put into making wonderful patterns for us.
Thank you
Juvy
